What are the "horns of the alter"? My Pastor said to grab hold of the horns of the alter.?

I am sure that he was referring to prayer and understand about the alter and sacrafices in the old testament. Still unclear where exactly he gets the action of grabbing the horns. Just a little confused.

What are the %26quot;horns of the alter%26quot;? My Pastor said to grab hold of the horns of the alter.?
He Is A Freemason He Has Been Worshiping Jahbulon To Long And He Shouldn%26#039;t Be A Pastor Evil Satanic Lustful Creep

I Say
Reply:HORNS SYMBOLIZE A COUPLE THINGS, POWER AND IF I REMEMBER RIGHT LEADERS.
Reply:This sounds like a reference to the Tabernacle, the original dwelling place of God as described in Exodus. The alter on which animal sacrifices were done had four horns on it, one facing in each direction. From my study of the tabernacle, this represented the sacrifice going out to the 4 corners of the world.

I think that %26quot;Grab the horns of the alter%26quot; is just a phrase that means get serious about prayer. Get serious and sanctification, etc.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is in the world.
