Berks County, PA Trains Whistling and Blowing Horns???
I live in Northampton county and I know there is a train that does blow a whistle that comes out of Phillipsburg NJ
Reply:Look at a street map, if you see tracks crossing roads, it is required to blow the whistle, federal law.

There are some crossings that whistles are NOT required but they are not very common, usually in places where the trains move slowly and the crossing gates have to be constructed in a way that cars can't go around the arms.
Reply:I dont think that any electric trains will blow whistles so your blown unless they're any deisel trains in the area. Deisel trains will blow whistles and your rite about the town you've mentioned.

Maybe if you find towns that link to that rail line too then those will be deisel probably. So they will blow whistles.

Email me if you found my advice useful.
Reply:Trains sound their horns at all crossings. I grew up in Lancaster.
