I have a horn that is not working on my 87 benz e class. I tested the horn to the batterie and it works. so it is obviously in the wiring. i dont have the time or patients for this troubleshooting and i have to pass an instpection for my vehichle registration in germany. ive heard of people installing push button horns to pass the inspection. I just need a little advise. Thanks.
How can i install a push button horn on my car?
buy a push button from your local parts store, Find a good place to install it...
run a fused power lead to the horn button, then run from the other side of the horn button to the horn. (avoid moving parts/pinch points, etc)
