Do airplanes have horns?

Yes, some airplanes do have horns, but not for the same purposes that automobiles do. Horns on airplanes are linked to emergency warning systems that alert the pilots of a systems failure or an incorrect setting of the controls for the current flight configuration. And we are not talking about simply the horns that are linked to warning systems either. Those are different %26quot;horns%26quot; or rather annunciators. Boeing airliners have a very loud horn in the forward nosewell that is purely for attracting attention- just like the horn in your car. It%26#039;s called the %26quot;Ground Call%26quot; horn and it signals the rampers for attention.
