Is it true that only male rhinoceros have horns ?

I actuality, neither male nor females have horns. Horns are keratinous growths while the %26quot;horns%26quot; of a rhino are made of densely packed hair. Both males and females have these growths.

Is it true that only male rhinoceros have horns ?
The hair makes up the horn thus they have horns. Horns on any animal are more or less a growth in one form or another, that does not take away from the fact that they are %26quot;horns%26quot;. Report It

Reply:No, females have horns also.

Reply:I am not sure where you heard that but no, males females and even young are born with horns.

The only differences in horns with rhinos is some species have two, others only have one.

For example black rhinos have two, indians have one.
Reply:Is not true, but the males%26#039; horn is larger.
