What are Rhinoceros Horns used for?

I see it as a major problem that rhinos are killed by poachers just for their horns. The poachers will drive them to their extinxtion.

So... what exactly are these Horns and other bones used for???

What are Rhinoceros Horns used for?
The rhinoceros horn isn%26#039;t a bone nor is it ivory (modified dentition), it%26#039;s modified hair and it%26#039;s used for defensive purposes by the Rhino. Many human cultures equate the rhino horn with fertility and will either use the rhino horn for that application or as a prized knife handle. The other parts or the Rhino aren%26#039;t valuable and are left behind by poachers.
Reply:for protection

Reply:In Yemen, the horns are used for handles of jambias, the traditional curved knives. The leftovers are shipped to China for medicine to enhance virility. The rest of the rhino is not used by the poachers.
Reply:Some cultures believe that it is a verility enhancer. You know, good to keep the yang up.

Butttttttt since rinos horns are esentially made up of , believe it or not hair.....They could probably be better off eating a wig.
Reply:they are made of hair not true bone

and powder of ground up horns is mistakenly used for aphrodisiacs
